About The Position

The Entry Level Manager Trainee works in sales, collections, merchandise delivery and pickup, service calls, and store operations. The role sells furniture, appliances, and electronics; contacts customers by phone or at their homes to renew rental agreements; delivers and picks up merchandise; troubleshoots rental merchandise and delivers loaners when needed; loads and unloads freight trucks; drives company vehicles; and cleans and refurbishes previously rented merchandise. Other general duties may be assigned by management. Work hours are generally 8:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday, with one of those days off and Sundays off. Hours may vary based on store needs, and the average workweek is 45–50 hours. The position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50–100 pounds and a Class D chauffeur’s driver’s license. The workplace is drug-free.

Requirements

Bilingual Spanish and English language skills.
At least 23 years of age.
Class D chauffeur’s driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record.
Ability to regularly lift and carry 50–100 pounds.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Sales, collections, management, or customer service experience is helpful.
One year of sales, collections, or customer service experience is preferred.
One year of heavy-lifting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Sell furniture, appliances, and electronics.
Contact customers by phone or at their homes to collect payments and renew rental agreements.
Deliver and pick up merchandise from customers’ homes.
Make service calls, troubleshoot rental merchandise, and deliver loaner merchandise when needed.
Load and unload freight trucks.
Drive company vehicles.
Clean and refurbish previously rented merchandise.
Perform other general duties as directed by management.
