About The Position

Wiliot is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Entry-Level Field Engineer to join its Dallas and Bentonville teams. This hands-on, customer-facing role supports the deployment and operation of Wiliot’s IoT technology in customer environments. It is suited to a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in gaining practical technical experience while working with innovative technology and major customers. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced technical teams, learn new tools and processes, and help bring Wiliot’s technology to life. The role requires 30–40% out-of-state travel, as well as local and occasional regional travel.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong interest in technology, hardware, and learning new technical skills.
• Basic understanding of computers, networking, electronics, or technical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Comfort working in different environments, including warehouses, distribution centers, and customer facilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally; 30–40% out-of-state travel is required.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for installations.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Technical certifications, internships, school projects, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience working with hardware, computers, or electronic equipment.

• Basic experience with installation, testing, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup, and deployment of Wiliot technology at customer locations.
• Work hands-on with hardware, devices, and technical equipment.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of basic technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical specialists, and customer-facing teams to support successful deployments.
• Help monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
• Document installation activities, testing results, and technical findings.
• Learn new technologies, tools, and processes through hands-on experience.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support installations and deployments.
