About The Position

Wiliot is seeking an enthusiastic, technically inclined early-career Field Engineer to support deployments of its IoT technology in Dallas and Bentonville. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role providing real-world technical experience while working alongside experienced technical teams and supporting major customers. The role involves installing and setting up hardware and devices, assisting with testing and troubleshooting, monitoring equipment, documenting technical findings, and learning new tools and processes. Travel to customer sites is required, including 30–40% out-of-state travel.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong interest in technology, hardware, and learning new technical skills.
• Basic understanding of computers, networking, electronics, or technical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Comfort working in varied environments, including warehouses, distribution centers, and customer facilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally; the role requires 30–40% out-of-state travel.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup, and deployment of Wiliot technology at customer locations.
• Work hands-on with hardware, devices, and technical equipment.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of basic technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical specialists, and customer-facing teams to support successful deployments.
• Help monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
• Document installation activities, testing results, and technical findings.
• Learn new technologies, tools, and processes through hands-on experience.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support installations and deployments.
