About The Position

Wiliot is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to join its Dallas and Bentonville teams. This hands-on, customer-facing role supports deployment and operation of Wiliot’s IoT technology in real-world customer environments. The position is suitable for a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking practical technical experience. The engineer will work alongside experienced technical teams, interact with customer environments, and help bring Wiliot’s technology to life. The role includes travel to customer sites, with 30–40% out-of-state travel required.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with 0–2 years of experience.
• Strong interest in technology, hardware, and learning new technical skills.
• Basic understanding of computers, networking, electronics, or technical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Comfort working in different environments, including warehouses, distribution centers, and customer facilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally regionally.
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, setup, and deployment of Wiliot technology at customer locations.
• Work hands-on with hardware, devices, and technical equipment.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of basic technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical specialists, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
• Document installation activities, testing results, and technical findings.
• Learn new technologies, tools, and processes through hands-on experience.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support installations and deployments; 30–40% out-of-state travel is required.
