About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role focuses on light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial inspections to identify vehicle imperfections or repairs needed during the reconditioning process. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support the progression of their skills and pay.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance on vehicles.
Check vehicle fluids.
Conduct initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
