Entry-level Auto Technician
About The Position
Carvana is hiring an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The technician performs light maintenance and fluid checks, and conducts initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The role requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve mandatory overtime based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must pass a complete background check.
