About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Entry-Level Auto Technician to work in one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves light maintenance, fluid checks, and initial vehicle inspections to identify imperfections or repairs that may be needed during reconditioning. Entry-level technicians receive training programs intended to help their skills and pay progress. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Perform light maintenance on vehicles.
Check vehicle fluids.
Conduct initial inspections to identify imperfections or repairs needed during reconditioning.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
Use safety equipment, including items such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment.
