About The Position

The Entertainer performs dances during venue open hours to encourage guests to join the dance floor. The role calls for an energetic, outgoing, fun, and professional presence, along with friendly and effective guest communication and service. The Entertainer attends practices to learn organized choreography, stays informed about musical trends and relevant dances, and is comfortable performing in public. The position also supports teamwork and quality service through communication and coordination with other departments. The work takes place in an alcohol- and smoke-filled environment and requires working nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience with customer service and/or hosting.
• Speak English fluently; other languages are preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work in smoke-filled and alcohol environments.
• Thorough knowledge of the approved Responsible Gaming Program.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to stand and dance for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, and reach with the body and arms; work under variable temperatures and noise levels; and use stairs and elevators, including going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board or another applicable regulatory entity, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain knowledge of musical trends and relevant dances and perform comfortably in public.
• Follow Company and departmental rules and regulations and the approved Responsible Gaming Program.
