About The Position

Capchase is seeking a self-motivated and sharp communicator to join its Sales organization as a Business Development Representative. This role is foundational for individuals aspiring to build a career in tech/fintech sales, offering direct exposure to deal sourcing, qualification, and closing processes within a rapidly expanding company. The BDR will be the initial point of contact for new vendor and channel prospects, tasked with identifying, engaging, and qualifying opportunities for Account Executives to convert into closed business. Capchase is revolutionizing the equipment financing space by integrating flexible payment terms into sales workflows, enabling faster deal closures without the complexity of separate financing systems. They are the modern platform for financing leading enterprise solutions, supporting direct and channel sales motions, with over $2 billion funded and rapid approvals. Backed by prominent fintech investors, Capchase has secured significant funding to fuel its growth, expanding from a small team to over 80 employees across 10 markets in just five years, supporting thousands of companies globally.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills and an energetic, confident phone presence
  • Comfort with sales/prospecting tools and a willingness to learn new ones quickly
  • A self-starter mentality — high urgency, high ownership, comfortable operating without a fully defined playbook
  • Genuine curiosity about business challenges and how companies buy technology
  • Discipline to track and improve your own performance daily

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer-facing or sales experience
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Exposure to financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience at a high-growth startup
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university

Responsibilities

  • Source new opportunities through inbound qualification and outbound prospecting into vendor and VAR/reseller organizations (target: SMB, mid-market and larger, 100+ employees)
  • Qualify prospects using consultative discovery criteria before handing off to AEs
  • Build and run outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn) into target accounts across our vendor and channel segments
  • Research target companies and contacts to build a strong, personalized outbound pipeline, no generic spray-and-pray
  • Maintain clean, accurate prospect and account data in Salesforce
  • Partner closely with AEs to understand what makes a qualified opportunity and refine targeting over time
  • Get fluent in how tech financing works so you can speak credibly to vendor and channel prospects from the first conversation
