About The Position

Compliancy Group is seeking a BDR Manager to lead their Business Development Representative team. This role is crucial as the BDR team is often the first point of contact for potential clients. The ideal candidate will have experience building and coaching high-performing BDR teams, designing effective outbound strategies, and a passion for developing people and achieving pipeline targets. This leadership position involves close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to shape prospecting, messaging, and handoff processes. The role is for individuals energized by outbound selling, process building, and team growth, working within the healthcare compliance sector.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience leading a BDR team, ideally in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or healthcare compliance markets and a genuine understanding of the value a structured compliance program brings.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including CRM management and sequence-building.
  • Comfort with phone and outreach tooling.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, using KPIs to understand performance and guide strategy.
  • Deep experience with outbound calling, objection handling, and value-based selling.
  • Coaching ability to effectively teach sales skills to others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented.
  • Discipline to keep a remote team focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs to consistently achieve and exceed pipeline targets, fostering a collaborative, high-energy culture.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, structured performance feedback, and skill development to team members.
  • Model a consultative, insight-led approach to outbound prospecting, particularly in the healthcare compliance space.
  • Design and execute a BDR strategy that drives consistent lead generation and pipeline growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Marketing to align BDR outreach with go-to-market objectives, messaging, and campaign calendars.
  • Test and iterate on outreach channels, sequences, and tactics to improve reach and conversion.
  • Continuously refine BDR workflows from prospecting and sequencing through to handoff for efficiency and a seamless prospect experience.
  • Establish clear, trackable KPIs for real-time performance visibility and pipeline contribution confidence.
  • Leverage HubSpot and other tools to streamline operations, maintain data quality, and keep metrics current.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs and a consistent prospect experience by working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Serve as the voice of the BDR team in broader go-to-market conversations, providing field insights.
  • Produce regular reports on BDR performance, pipeline contribution, and team metrics.
  • Translate performance data into clear recommendations and use trends to anticipate challenges and adjust strategy proactively.
