About The Position

As the Enterprise Apps & AI Lead on the Enterprise Data Applications team, you will lead Full Stack Developers and Solution Architects who design, build, and operate business-facing web, AI-powered, and simulation applications, backend architectures, and advanced analytics systems. These solutions support Finance, Supply Chain, Global Technology (R&D), Sustainability, and Master Data domains. You will set technical direction for a growing portfolio of applications and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, user-centric solutions aligned with the global roadmap. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people leadership. You will guide architecture and delivery, connect complex business processes to robust end-to-end designs using test-driven methodology, and promote engineering quality across frontend, backend, AI, and DevOps. Prior knowledge of the company’s domains or applications is not required; the role requires deep, current expertise in the technical stack and the ability to quickly learn the applications. The ideal candidate leads by influence, mentors senior engineers and architects, and considers security, performance, cost, and user experience in design decisions.

  • Experience productionizing AI/ML systems at scale, including MLOps, model deployment, observability, and cost management.
  • Experience with LLMOps, agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph, and integrating enterprise data catalogs into AI applications.
  • Experience leading distributed engineering teams across multiple concurrent product streams and shaping engineering culture at scale.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, including SAP/ERP data, event-driven architectures, and secure API design in large, regulated organizations.
