About The Position

Siemens is seeking an experienced enterprise SaaS Account Executive to grow adoption of Asset Essentials, its computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), across industrial manufacturing organizations in the United States. The role focuses on acquiring new customers and managing a hybrid territory of complex multinational organizations and high-capacity domestic accounts. The sales approach connects plant-level operational challenges with enterprise and C-suite business outcomes to secure broad adoption. The Account Executive will identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities, with new ARR bookings as the primary measure of success. The position involves partnering with sales, marketing, SDRs, solution consultants, channel managers, and global account teams to develop territory strategies and support complex, multisite customers. The role is U.S.-based and ideally located in Raleigh, North Carolina, but qualified remote candidates across the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Requirements

  • Experience closing both domestic manufacturing contracts and complex multinational enterprise agreements involving buying committees and coordination across business units or geographies.
  • Proficiency in value-based selling methodologies, including Challenger and MEDDPICC.
  • Ability to translate operational pain points into financial metrics for business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, production environments, and how CMMS software interacts with plant architectures such as PLCs, SCADA, ERPs, OEE, and MES.
  • Proven new-logo acquisition experience and a record of meeting or exceeding individual ARR quotas.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, enterprise presentation, and multi-stakeholder consensus-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and virtual meeting tools.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with CMMS, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), or industrial asset management software.
  • Experience landing and expanding Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Deep familiarity with maintenance, reliability engineering, and plant operations.
  • Experience collaborating with SDRs in a structured SalesLoft/Salesforce cadence workflow.
  • First-hand experience with digital transformation or Industry 4.0 initiatives in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new-logo acquisition for Asset Essentials CMMS among multinational enterprises and premier domestic accounts.
  • Conduct strategic outbound prospecting and execute multinational account penetration strategies.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop high-value opportunities in enterprise and mid-market manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with SDRs, solution consultants, partner and channel managers, and marketing to develop territory and account strategies; coach and inspect outbound efforts to improve pipeline creation and conversion.

  • Project-manage complex procurement processes to support predictable sales cycles.
  • Manage and grow key accounts, coordinating internal and customer cross-functional teams.
