English AI Maps Trainer
About The Position
This role involves leveraging your English language knowledge to enhance AI capabilities, specifically in the context of digital map designs. You will evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of these designs, as well as assess user-focused elements such as viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance. Additionally, you will review personalized location recommendations to ensure they are relevant and helpful. A key part of the role is following strict project instructions and accurately tagging specific issues, like icons not being properly masked or labels being too small.
Requirements
- Located and have the right to work in the United States.
- An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
- Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds.
- A desktop or laptop computer is required to complete the application and onboarding process. Mobile devices are not supported.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
- Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
- Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
- Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).
Benefits
- Hourly rate: US$20.30
- Remote work
- Estimated volume: 8 - 10 hours per week
- Project runs on a weekly basis
- Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
