Engineering Technician – USACE Sentinel Program | Federal Construction & Document Control | Omaha, NE
About The Position
ASR International Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technician or Senior Engineering Technician to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division. The role focuses on receiving, tracking, and distributing submittals; communicating with project managers, resident engineers, and construction representatives; organizing and maintaining engineering documents; maintaining the Project Extranet (ProjNet) database; and using USACE automated information systems. Work locations are determined by individual task orders. All personnel must complete required training, including the USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course, safety training, and annual Ethics training. Candidates must be E-Verify eligible. Background investigations, Common Access Card (CAC) issuance, and/or security clearance may be required at the task order level. Hired applicants may be eligible for compensation and benefits, subject to the factors described in the posting.
Requirements
- Engineering Technician: minimum three years of experience.
- Senior Engineering Technician: minimum eight years of experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be E-Verify eligible.
- Complete required USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors, safety, and annual Ethics training.
- May be required to complete background investigations, obtain a Common Access Card (CAC), and/or obtain a security clearance at the task order level.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with USACE document control systems.
Responsibilities
- Log and track submittals and deliver them within established review times, typically 10 working days or less.
- Maintain project files and the Project Extranet (ProjNet) database.
- Act as a contractor liaison and deliver submittals to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare presentations and support document control.
- Communicate with the PM, Resident Engineers, and construction representatives.
- Utilize USACE automated information systems.
