About The Position

This position is for an Engineering and Manufacturing Tech, performing functions and tasks associated with High Performance Computing Racks. This includes working with engineers for server and rack installation, cabling, and set-up, validation of rack/system health, and troubleshooting. Job duties also include performing rework of servers, and quality testing related to components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. This requires the use of sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.

Requirements

• Experience with Server/Rack Hardware.
• Ability to do Cable Management, Routing, and modification
• Good work ethic with through follow-through and closure.
• Experience with using layout and schematics tools including Visio.
• Experience with Windows and a Linux OS installation, OS/Data Backup, Recovery

Responsibilities

• Build and Assemble Servers
• T/S Server/Rack Powerup issues
• Route Cables and Connect inter and intra racks.
• Logistics and Hardware RMA Management
• Create Interconnect and OMS Diagrams.
• Create Documentation for Cabling
• Train ATE’s and Upgrade Engineers.
