About The Position

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Production Lab Technician to join its team in Livingston, California. The role analyzes critical process and product parameters to help ensure the facility produces high-quality products efficiently. The technician uses calibration procedures, aseptic technique, and basic process control, and troubleshoots analytical equipment problems. The position performs routine and non-routine laboratory work, communicates out-of-specification results to Production Operators and/or Supervisors, maintains laboratory spaces and equipment, and uses the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The hourly wage is $26.06 USD. The successful candidate is expected to work at Livingston, CA and must live in the area or be willing to commute. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory procedures, including sample receiving, weighing, grinding, and compositing for downstream testing.
• Notify the Production Operator and/or Supervisor when tests are out of specification, using communication channels such as radio, Teams, or a spreadsheet.
• Clean and maintain labware, equipment, and laboratory work areas as needed with sanitizers.
• Maintain knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) needed to perform job responsibilities.
