About The Position

Sensient Technologies is seeking a Production Lab Technician to join its team in Livingston, California. The technician analyzes critical process and product parameters to help ensure the facility efficiently produces high-quality products. The role requires using calibration procedures, aseptic technique, and basic process control, as well as troubleshooting analytical equipment problems.

The position performs routine and non-routine laboratory procedures, including preparing samples for downstream testing, communicating out-of-specification test results to production personnel, and cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and work areas. The technician also uses the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to complete job responsibilities.

The role is based at the Livingston, CA facility. The successful candidate must reside in the area or be willing to commute; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available. The hourly wage is $26.06 USD, with pay within the range based on factors that may include education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory procedures, including sample receiving, weighing, grinding, and compositing for downstream testing.
• Notify the Production Operator and/or Supervisor of out-of-specification test results using communication tools such as radio, Teams, or spreadsheets.
• Clean and maintain labware, equipment, and laboratory work areas with sanitizers as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) needed to complete job responsibilities.
• Use calibration procedures, aseptic technique, and basic process control, and troubleshoot analytical equipment problems.
