About The Position

Alliance North America (ANA) is a growing and scaling organization seeking an Engineering Project Manager for an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada. As ANA transitions from research and development into a full-scale commercial product development organization, this role is crucial for leading the New Product Introduction (NPI) framework and managing key operational systems. The Engineering Project Manager will bridge technical execution and operational readiness by leading project timelines, driving Change Request (CR) workflows, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate will ensure engineering change integrity, manage part life cycles, and establish realistic launch schedules across cross-functional teams. This individual should be comfortable establishing structure in evolving processes, identifying risks proactively, and holding teams accountable to commitments. The position is fully onsite, with a work schedule of weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, reporting to the Director of R&D.

  • 3–5+ years of progressive project management experience within a product development, engineering, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related environment.
  • Direct hands-on experience configuring product data, BOMs, and ECOs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar modern ERP systems).
  • Deep understanding of structured NPI processes, ECO/CR workflows, and product life cycle management (PLM).
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, structured risk management, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects from development through production launch.
  • Experience working within a structured NPI, stage-gate, product development, or engineering change environment.
  • Experience working directly with Engineering, Manufacturing/Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams.
  • Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Ability to develop realistic schedules and effectively manage competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of NPI, ECO/CR workflows, product life-cycle management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and process discipline.
  • Ability to identify risks proactively, challenge unrealistic timelines, and drive accountability across stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a growing organization where processes are being built, refined, and scaled.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project-management/process-improvement certification.
  • Experience in industrial equipment, heavy equipment, power generation, compressors, manufacturing, or other engineered products.
  • Experience implementing or improving NPI, ECO, PLM, or engineering change-management processes.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing or scaling manufacturing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure engineering changes are properly documented, communicated, and implemented across affected functions.
  • Maintain accurate revision histories and ensure drawings, specifications, BOMs, and related technical documentation remain current.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined documentation standards to support product integrity, traceability, and production readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to assess the operational, inventory, procurement, and production impacts of proposed changes.
  • Ensure obsolete or superseded components are appropriately identified and transitioned through the product life cycle.
  • Lead the hands-on configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for engineering data structures.
  • Set up and maintain engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and item cards.
  • Manage product life cycles within the ERP, including creating new part numbers, transitioning active components, and formally obsoleting end-of-life parts.
  • Ensure seamless data alignment between engineering releases and procurement/inventory systems to eliminate production bottlenecks and scrap.
  • Lead hands-on configuration and maintenance of engineering-related product data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Create and maintain item cards, engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, revisions, and other product master data.
  • Create and maintain new part numbers in alignment with established engineering and business processes.
  • Manage product life-cycle transitions, including new product introduction, active component changes, replacements, and end-of-life/obsolete parts.
  • Ensure engineering releases are accurately reflected in ERP, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing systems.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations to identify and resolve data gaps that could create production delays, excess inventory, or scrap.
  • Establish data integrity standards and controls that support accurate planning, purchasing, production, and inventory management.
