About The Position

As an Engineering Manager at 1KOMMA5° Heartbeat AI GmbH, you will lead one of our cross-functional App teams, empowering your engineers to own the full lifecycle of their products from development and deployment to day-to-day operations. Our Stack: TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js, Flutter AI-assisted development with Cursor and agentic coding workflows SQLMesh, BigQuery, Looker GCP, Vercel, GitHub Actions, Datadog Linear, Notion, Figma, Miro

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of proven experience in software engineering in a fast paced and scalable environment
• At least 3 years of experience in leading cross-functional and agile software engineering teams working with cutting edge technologies on distributed systems
• Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills in English, German is a plus

Nice To Haves

• Experience in climate tech and especially energy industry
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
