About The Position

Coury Hospitality is hiring an Engineering Manager to support two properties: TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park. These two Marriott brands serve Silicon Valley’s tech, corporate, and campus-based clientele. The position leads engineering and maintenance operations across both hotels, oversees building systems and preventative maintenance, and supports guest satisfaction in partnership with Operations teams. The manager also supports the Director of Engineering with management tasks and additional duties, as well as campus-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering or facilities management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a polished, professional presence.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, campus-based team environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering team.
• Oversee maintenance operations across both hotels.
• Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Administer preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Manage budgets, inventories, vendors, and capital projects.
• Partner with Operations teams to support guest satisfaction.
• Support the Director of Engineering with management tasks and additional duties.
• Support campus-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.
