About The Position

Coury Hospitality is hiring an Engineering Manager to support TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Sunnyvale Moffett Park. Together, the two Marriott properties serve Silicon Valley’s tech, corporate, and campus-based clientele. The role leads the Engineering team and oversees maintenance operations across both hotels, including building systems, preventative maintenance, compliance, budgets, vendors, and capital projects. The manager partners with Operations to support guest satisfaction and assists the Director of Engineering with management tasks and additional duties, as well as campus-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering or facilities management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a polished, professional presence.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative, campus-based team environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering team.
• Oversee maintenance operations across both hotels.
• Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Administer preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure regulatory and safety compliance.
• Manage budgets, inventories, vendors, and capital projects.
• Partner with Operations teams to support guest satisfaction.
• Support the Director of Engineering with management tasks and additional duties.
• Support campus-wide sales strategies, promotions, and special projects as assigned.
