About The Position

Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is hiring an Engineering Manager to join its Property Operations Team. The property is a 42-story tower with more than 200 rooms, including guest rooms and residences, over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and three food and beverage outlets. The Engineering Manager oversees physical building and systems maintenance and repairs while helping deliver memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of hotel buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead maintenance operations by setting priorities, ensuring activities are executed effectively, and verifying task completion through the property management system.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors, liaise with city officials, and inspect the quality of contractor work.
• Ensure maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergency situations are handled in a timely manner.
• Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate engineering and maintenance team members.
