About The Position

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a proactive and organized Engineering Maintenance Administrator to join their Engineering team in York. This role will support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of maintenance activities across operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong coordination skills, technical awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a maintenance coordination, engineering support, or similar role.
Demonstrated knowledge of understanding areas of quality control, health, safety, environment, and effective cost management.
Strong IT skills.
Ability to engage front-line Engineers and mobilize teams in pursuit of common goals.
Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

Nice To Haves

CMMS (Hollistech) knowledge and experience would be ideal.

Responsibilities

Act as a super user and site lead for the management and development of the CMMS system.
Plan and distribute works orders and planned maintenance.
Keep the Engineering department updated on outstanding actions.
Work closely with the Asset Care Manager to aid with the implementation of the CMMS System.
Raise purchase orders for corrective and improvement work.
Work in conjunction with the Engineering Management team to ensure all Engineering health and safety documentation for contractor site visits is up to date and stored in the relevant contractor folder.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates of the Engineering KPIs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records to establish cost of ownership, facilitate proactive maintenance, and improve procurement of new equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
