About The Position

The Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) Member for General Dynamics Mission Systems will rotate across several cross-functional teams in Orlando, Florida. Opportunities include supporting rotations responsible for Intel/Electronic Warfare (EW) & Threat Systems, Live Training Systems, and Training Technologies. While completing rotations, participants will also complete a technical Master's degree, undergo internal training, engage in community involvement, and establish a strong professional network. This program offers an exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development, research-oriented work with award-winning teams developing practical solutions for national security, and flexible schedules with every other Friday off (9/80 schedule).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Zero to three years of related work experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • GPA of at least 3.2 (3.6 preferred).
  • Previous internship or project work in your discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, face challenging tasks, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.
  • A passion for supporting those who serve, learning and applying new concepts, and community involvement.
  • Strong Technical Background.
  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
