About The Position

The Engineering Leadership Program (ELP) Member for General Dynamics Mission Systems will rotate through several different disciplines including Systems Engineering, Business Development, Internal Research and Development (IRAD), and other selected areas of interest. Participants will complete a technical master’s degree, undergo internal training, engage in community activities, and build a professional network. This program offers an exciting career path with continuous learning and development opportunities, research-oriented work with award-winning teams, and flexible schedules with an option for a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical (Analog), Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
U.S. citizenship required.
GPA of at least 3.2 (3.6 preferred).
Previous internship or project work in your discipline.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, face challenging tasks, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.
Passion for supporting those who serve, learning and applying new concepts, and community involvement.
Strong Technical Background.
Demonstrated Leadership Experience.
Strong Interpersonal Skills.
