About The Position

Jabil is hiring multiple engineering interns in Florence, Kentucky, for its Summer 2027 internship program. Available areas include Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Test Engineering, and Automation Engineering. Interns will support their teams with assigned projects and daily operational tasks, collect and analyze data, assist with process improvements and documentation, and communicate with team members and stakeholders. The program includes opportunities to engage with Jabil leaders, participate in professional development, networking, social and community events, collaborate on committees, receive mentorship, and tour Jabil facilities.

Requirements

• Major in an engineering-specific discipline or a related field.
• Be a rising senior graduating in May 2027 or August 2027, or a recent 2026 graduate.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Strong computer skills, including general PC and Microsoft Office experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw logical conclusions.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and execute tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data, graphs, and basic metrics.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects and tasks assigned by the Functional Manager.
• Assist with day-to-day operations, processes, and documentation.
• Follow Environmental Health & Safety standards, work practices, and company policies.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Help identify issues, gather relevant information, and develop practical solutions.
• Assist with process documentation, work instructions, and operational procedures as needed.
