About The Position

CrowdStrike is building next-generation technologies to power the company’s systems for the next ten years. This role joins a fast-moving team taking a blank-slate approach to scaling systems and using AI to stop breaches. It is a hybrid position based in Redmond, Washington; Sunnyvale, California; Austin, Texas; New York City; or Toronto, with employees expected to work in the office at least two days per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience building and operating high-volume, highly resilient Tier-1 cloud services and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Go, Java, or similar technologies.
• Ability to find simply elegant solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to move quickly, work through ambiguity, and lead collaboration across teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in writing and verbally.
• Experience driving technical decisions across groups and stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership in the work built.
• Passion for developing teams through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and implementation of significant components of the new cloud architecture in collaboration with senior technologists.
• Deliver low-latency, highly scalable services.
• Partner closely with desktop agent and AI teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in hiring, design reviews, post-mortems, and development of the team’s technical skills.
