Engine Workshop Technician
About The Position
Customer-facing and focused, fully proficient at an advanced level in various engine products, capable of completing highly complex problem-solving, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds. May specialize in one or multiple engine products and/or market segments in a service workshop. Works independently while leading by example to ensure site productivity and safety standards are maintained. Spends a significant amount of time coaching and providing technical supervision to less experienced technicians, supporting their development and maintaining a continuous pipeline of talent within the function. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Regina, SK).
Requirements
- Fully proficient at an advanced level in various engine products
- Capable of completing highly complex problem-solving, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds
- Ability to coach and provide technical supervision to less experienced technicians
- Talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
