About The Position

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking an Engagement Coordinator for the Alumni and Parent Engagement Department. This part-time position provides administrative, operational, and constituent support to West Point Societies and Parents Clubs worldwide. The Engagement Coordinator helps ensure consistent service, effective communication, and successful execution of engagement activities that strengthen connections across the Long Gray Line. The role involves providing administrative, engagement, and technical support to over 130 West Point Societies and 64 Parents Clubs, assisting volunteer leaders and ensuring smooth coordination of programs, events, and communications. This position will also support annual programs such as the Distinguished Society Award, Distinguished Parents Club Award, National Volunteer Week, and the WPAOG Leaders Conference.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when engaging with alumni, parents, and volunteers.
  • Strong familiarity with database management (CRM).
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong familiarity with Google Suite.
  • Strong familiarity with web-based engagement platforms such as Sallyport (HiveBrite).
  • High school diploma required.
  • Must live within commuting distance of West Point.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in alumni relations.
  • Prior experience in event coordination.
