Requirements
- Two years of experience in general office work which included interviewing the public; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Be able to perform essential job functions.
- Submission of criminal history reports (conditional offer of employment).
- Pass a background investigation.
Responsibilities
- Review applications and complete required forms for eligibility decisions
- Determine customer eligibility based on income and program rules
- Interview customers and review documents to gather needed information
- Maintain orderly case files and record all required data
- Prepare and send notices requesting information or informing customers of decisions
- Enter information into system screens to support accurate records
