About The Position

The Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Technician (ERCP) in the Endo/GI Lab at Texas Health Plano will be responsible for collecting patient data, identifying and reporting significant findings to nurses, performing technical procedures safely and proficiently, taking action to reduce or eliminate patient risk, and documenting accurately and appropriately. The role also involves assisting in admission/transfer/discharge and adapting care to reflect age-specific, developmental, cultural, religious needs and beliefs in collaboration with nurses.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • 1 year of GI clinical experience required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of previous ERCP experience preferred
