About The Position

This position is responsible for collecting patient data, identifying and reporting significant findings to nurses, performing technical procedures safely and proficiently, taking action to reduce or eliminate patient risk, and documenting accurately and appropriately. The role also involves assisting in admission/transfer/discharge and adapting care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations, as well as incorporating cultural/religious needs and beliefs into the delivery of care, all in collaboration with nurses.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
1 year of GI clinical experience required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

1 year of previous ERCP experience preferred
