About The Position

Optum WA, known locally as The Everett Clinic, is seeking an Endocrinology Physician to join their team in the Greater Seattle area. Optum is a clinician-led care organization focused on improving clinician work-life balance and patient health outcomes. The organization provides clinical resources, data, and support, fostering a collaborative environment guided by diversity and inclusion. The Endocrinology team is experienced and diverse, serving referred Optum patients. The new team member will take over an established practice. The practice offers an outpatient opportunity with office consults, follow-up appointments, and outpatient procedures, following a 20/40/60 schedule. Flexible scheduling options, including a 4-day work week, are available. The physician will receive dedicated 1:1 MA support and collaborate with a clinical support team of RNs, dieticians, and diabetic nurse educators. The role involves treating all aspects of endocrinology and metabolic disorders for patients aged 18 and older, and collaborating with other specialists and a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements

Unrestricted WA Physician License or willingness to obtain at start.
DEA certification required or willingness to obtain at start.
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology.
Current BLS, ACLS certification.
EMR Proficient – EPIC preferred.
Pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

Conduct office consults and follow-up appointments.
Perform outpatient procedures.
Treat all aspects of endocrinology and metabolic disorders for patients ages 18 years and older.
Collaborate with other specialists and a dedicated clinical team.
