About The Position

Mount Sinai Doctors Medical Group is seeking Endocrinology Physicians for a fully remote, virtual specialty care role. Physicians will provide patient-centered care through a telehealth platform, with a focus on excellent care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. The role includes longitudinal management of chronic endocrine conditions and consultative care for patients with specialized same-day or urgent needs. Physicians will help expand virtual endocrinology services and join a growing network practicing virtual medicine. Candidates should have a passion for endocrinology and metabolic health and be committed to the Mount Sinai Health System’s mission. Some evening and weekend availability is expected to accommodate patient access.

The role is part of a university-affiliated practice and offers collaboration with multispecialty colleagues across a world-class health system, as well as access to the educational, research, and clinical programs of the Icahn School of Medicine. Physicians will receive dedicated staff support for virtual workflows and patient coordination. The EMR used is EPIC.

Mount Sinai’s Department of Endocrinology emphasizes whole-person, patient-centered care and an integrative approach to patient care, research, and education. Compensation is listed as $225,000–$250,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, and benefits. Actual salary may vary based on experience, specialty, productivity, collections, and organizational needs.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of outpatient, in-person endocrinology practice experience.
• Medical degree from an accredited university.
• New York and New Jersey medical licenses.
• Board eligible or board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Commitment to Mount Sinai and the communities it serves.
• Excellent communication, virtual bedside manner, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven health system.

Nice To Haves

• Prior telehealth experience.
• Prior experience with Epic EMR.
