Contract EMT-Basic- Indiana - Heartland Ambulance Service
About The Position
Heartland Ambulance Service is seeking contract EMTs for a 13-week travel assignment in Indiana. The temporary position involves working on 911-only ambulances for a 911 and interfacility transport (IFT) provider. Shifts are either 12 hours or 24 hours. Housing is provided for the term of the contract. The schedule is described as either 12 hours on and 12 hours off every day for 13 weeks, or 24 hours on and 24 hours off for 13 weeks. The position entails 168 work hours per two-week pay period. Pay is issued every other Friday as W-2 wages. The employer will assist with obtaining Indiana reciprocity, with a process described as fast. The work location is on the road.
Requirements
- Hold NREMT or compact-state certification.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Have current CPR certification.
- Have at least 1 year of experience as an EMT.
Responsibilities
- Work on 911-only ambulances.
- Work the assigned 12-hour-on/12-hour-off or 24-hour-on/24-hour-off schedule for 13 weeks.
