Contract EMT-Basic- Indiana - Heartland Ambulance Service
About The Position
Heartland Ambulance Service is hiring contract EMTs for a temporary, 13-week travel contract in Indiana. The position is with an 911 and interfacility transport (IFT) provider, but the EMTs hired for this role will work on 911-only ambulances. Housing is provided for the term of the contract. The schedule is either 12-hour or 24-hour shifts. The posting also describes schedules of 12 hours on and 12 hours off every day for 13 weeks, or 24 hours on and 24 hours off for 13 weeks, totaling 168 hours per two-week pay period. Pay is issued every other Friday as W-2 employment. The work location is on the road.
Requirements
- Hold NREMT certification or certification from a compact state.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Have at least one year of experience as an EMT.
Responsibilities
- Work on 911-only ambulances.
- Work either 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, according to the assigned schedule.
