Contract EMT-Basic- Indiana - Heartland Ambulance Service
About The Position
Heartland Ambulance Service is seeking contract EMTs for a 13-week travel contract in Indiana. The position is temporary and includes housing for the duration of the contract. Heartland Ambulance Service provides 911 and interfacility transport (IFT) services; EMTs in this role will work on 911-only ambulances. The schedule is either 12 hours on and 12 hours off every day for 13 weeks, or 24 hours on and 24 hours off for 13 weeks. Employees will work 168 hours per pay period, with pay issued every other Friday as W-2 employment. The company will assist with obtaining Indiana reciprocity.
Requirements
- Hold NREMT or compact-state certification.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a clean driving record.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Have at least 1 year of experience as an EMT.
Responsibilities
- Work on 911-only ambulances.
- Work the assigned 12-hour or 24-hour shift schedule.
