About The Position
This position is responsible for providing emergency medical services. The role involves responding to medical emergencies, administering appropriate medical care, and transporting patients as needed. The EMS Specialist will work as part of a team to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License.
- Arizona EMT Certification.
- BLS/CPR Certification.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Paramedic certification.
- Experience in a municipal EMS setting.
- Advanced certifications in emergency medical care.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency medical calls.
- Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate medical treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Operate emergency vehicles safely.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency responders.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stocked.
- Participate in training and continuing education.
