About The Position
The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for the expeditious and efficient flow of incoming and outgoing telephone and radio transmissions for Emergency Medical Services. This is a full-time position with varied shifts at Saint Clare's Health.
Requirements
- Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician Certification.
- Obtain Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification (NJ State Approved) prior to hiring.
- Obtain Basic Communications Certification (NJ State Approved) prior to hiring.
- Current and valid Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
- Current and valid PHTLS, ITLS, or TCCC certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Obtain CEVO certification within 3 months of hire and renew it every 3 years.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Good driving record.
- At least two years of EMS experience.
Nice To Haves
- One year of public safety dispatching experience preferred.
