About The Position

The Employee Benefits Account Manager supports the sale of employee benefits to organizations and provides service to customers. This role handles account changes, updates, and value-added services. It is not an employee-benefits administration role within a company Human Resources department. The position is full-time and onsite at an Inszone office. An active license appropriate to the line of business is required.

Requirements

• Experience supporting the sale of employee benefits.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Current active license appropriate to the line of business.
• Ability to learn new information quickly and integrate it into the role.
• Computer literacy and ability to use and learn portals and software programs.
• Clear, calm written and verbal communication skills focused on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to plan and work in an organized manner.
• Ability to work well with an existing team and maintain a positive attitude.
• Professionalism and ability to set an example for other team members.

Responsibilities

• Process policy changes and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Answer clients’ questions about payments and notices.
• Process client endorsements.
• Manage a diverse book of house accounts.
• Cross-sell additional lines of business to existing customers.
• Support designated staff.
• Review and respond to renewal activities.
• Follow up on tasks and see them through to completion.
• Protect the best interests of both the company and the customer.
