About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Conshohocken, PA. This role is part of BluePearl’s Greater Philadelphia Network, which includes six multi-specialty and emergency hospitals and one emergency-only hospital focused on high-quality, compassionate patient care in a collaborative environment. The Conshohocken hospital serves pets and their families in the main line communities and surrounding counties. The hospital is state-of-the-art, opened in 2017, and offers advanced diagnostic and treatment methods including a 64-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy, and minimally invasive surgery. The network boasts a large number of specialists across various fields and advanced equipment like MRI and CT units, as well as radiation therapy capabilities. The Philadelphia hospitals were recognized as “Practice of the Year” in 2017.

Requirements

DVM/VMD degree required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine and critical care (ECC) preferred but not required.
General Practice (GP) or Humane Animal Medicine practice experience.
