About The Position

Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Veterinarian for rotating day, mid, and/or overnight shifts at its specialty hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and specialty services including Anesthesia, Critical Care, Dentistry, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery. EPVMC is a VECCS Level III certified hospital with advanced diagnostic equipment and an experienced specialty team that supports case collaboration. The veterinarian will provide emergency care for medical and surgical cases, triage and stabilize critical patients, collaborate with specialists, communicate compassionately with clients, and contribute to a positive, team-focused emergency department culture. Applicants must have a DVM in good standing and a Pennsylvania veterinary license, along with an empathetic, client-focused approach, a commitment to high-quality medicine, and an interest in teamwork and collaboration. Employment is contingent on successfully completing references and a background check.
