About The Position

Urgent Pet Care is an AAHA-accredited, growth-oriented urgent care clinic with two locations in the Omaha/Papillion area. The company emphasizes developing team members, valuing their ideas, and involving them in decisions about current operations and future growth. It is seeking full-time emergency veterinarians for a team-focused practice. Doctors work 12 shifts per month, providing a stated work/life balance. The clinics are open seven days a week, with posted closing times of midnight on weeknights and Saturdays and 10 p.m. on Sundays and holidays. Doctors and technicians remain through the night to care for patients. The ownership team consists of four veterinarians and a business professional. The role is suited to compassionate team players with strong communication skills and a passion for emergency medicine. Experience is preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Current DEA License or ability to obtain it upon hire.
Active Veterinary State License.
USDA Accreditation or ability to obtain it upon hire.
Compassionate approach, team-player attitude, and strong communication skills.
Passion for emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency veterinary care to patients and clients.
Work collaboratively with technicians, assistants, client care team members, and other veterinarians.
