About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Levittown, PA is seeking a full-time Emergency (ER) Veterinarian to join our team of specialists that include Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care including Extracorporeal Therapies, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Radiology, and Surgery. Frequent interdepartmental case discussions and collaboration with the goal of providing the best patient care possible. Well-established 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Bucks County Pennsylvania serving eastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey. Centrally located near beautiful countryside for outdoor activities, with easy access to Philadelphia and New York City, and close to New Jersey beaches. Oxygen cages, transfusion products, multiparimeter monitors, and new point of care ultrasound machines for our ER and inpatients. Full in-house laboratory, as well as an adjacent Antech reference lab. Access to 24/7 radiologist reviews, as well as state-of-the-art imaging with MRI, CT, and ultrasound.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree required.
- Ideal candidate will have General Practice (GP) or Humane Animal Medicine practice experience.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in PA.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine and critical care (ECC) preferred but not required.
