About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in New York City, Downtown. We have four state-of-the-art hospitals, in three boroughs of NYC, with our Downtown hospital serving downtown Manhattan including Union Square, Greenwich Village and East Village. We're off Fifth Avenue on West 15th Street and are accessible by public transportation. Those without ER experience (including new graduates) are encouraged to apply through our EmERge program. We offer 24/7 emergency medicine in a well-equipped facility with multi-specialty services. Specialties include cardiology, critical care, dermatology and allergy treatment, internal medicine, soft tissue, minimally invasive, orthopedic surgery, oncology, radiology, and anesthesiology. We offer state-of-the-art care, including a new 64-slice CT as well as multiple ultrasound units and digital radiology. Excel in a dynamic environment as an emergency veterinarian, delivering expert care to critically ill or injured pets. Requirements

  • DVM/VMD degree required.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
