About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team at a state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital. The ER/ICU department is staffed with dedicated clinicians and skilled technicians, fostering a collaborative team approach focused on high-quality medicine and patient care. Those without ER experience, including new graduates, are encouraged to apply through the EmERge program. The hospital is an 8,500-square-foot facility that opened in 2017, featuring an open treatment space floor plan and sophisticated diagnostic equipment. The team consists of motivated and synergistic specialists and emergency doctors who work closely to provide the highest quality of care. BluePearl Charlestown offers a collaborative atmosphere while allowing veterinarians to build their service by creating personalized relationships with the primary and pet-owning community of Boston. In collaboration with the Waltham location, there are opportunities for advancement, leadership, and a strong mentorship program.

Requirements

DVM/VMD degree required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
