About The Position

Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral (BVER) is seeking internship-trained or experienced emergency doctors to join its Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the Pacific Northwest. The privately owned and locally managed hospital emphasizes employee support, a positive workplace culture, excellent medicine, and excellent patient care. The role offers an opportunity to practice in a growing, state-of-the-art facility alongside specialists and emergency colleagues, with a fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU. The hospital has no general practice but operates a seven-day-a-week Urgent Care Department. Clinical learning is supported by daily morning case rounds, weekly in-house training for doctors and technicians, and a highly trained support staff committed to continuing education. The ideal candidate is collaborative, self-motivated, enjoys community outreach, and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency cases with the support of the hospital’s ER and ICU teams.
• Collaborate with specialists, emergency colleagues, and hospital support staff.

• Engage in community outreach and help promote and maintain a positive hospital culture.
