About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join their growing Emergency team. This role is an integral part of the multi-specialty and emergency hospitals, working closely with all specialists. The team is dedicated to delivering compassionate care in emergency situations. The BluePearl Northfield hospital is a 24-hour emergency and specialty center serving the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago, with an ER veterinarian always on site. The facility is modern and state-of-the-art, designed for advanced and efficient care around the clock. It offers a full range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including CT, ultrasound, and digital radiography, along with 24-hour surgical support. The hospital has a strong mix of specialties, including cardiology, emergency and critical care, surgery, internal medicine, and oncology, fostering a collaborative environment for case sharing and expertise access. Northfield is known for its supportive team culture, open communication, and commitment to comprehensive, compassionate care, providing a setting for clinical growth alongside experienced specialists and a dedicated support team.

Requirements

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree.
Holding a valid state veterinary license.
