About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Ellicott City, Maryland is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our collaborative and growing emergency and specialty team. Our brand-new 20,000 sq. ft. hospital offers cutting-edge medicine and a supportive, team-based environment. Our clinicians benefit from collaboration with Skylos Sports Medicine, one of the East Coast’s leading orthopedic and sports medicine practices, offering strong referral support and multidisciplinary care for complex orthopedic and oncologic patients. Requirements

DVM/VMD degree required.
Completion of a rotating internship in emergency (ER) medicine or ER training program.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Help define the culture, workflow, and clinical approach of a new department alongside experienced specialists.
Provide mission-driven care: enrich lives through remarkable care for pets and the people who love them.
Make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
