About The Position

A mission-driven organization is seeking a full-time social worker for a temporary assignment of approximately six months, beginning in November. The role provides intake, assessment, and case management services to individuals seeking emergency assistance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with one evening shift per week on Monday or Wednesday.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong leadership style, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work with diverse cultures.

Nice To Haves

• One year of related work experience, with some supervisory background preferred.
• Working knowledge of local community, State, and Government resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intake and assessments to determine eligibility, needs, and barriers.
• Facilitate goal-setting to help participants work toward self-sufficiency.
• Connect participants with resources for basic needs, including food, utilities, rent or mortgage payments, transportation, and medications.
• Conduct follow-up case management meetings to monitor and track clients’ progress toward goals.
